Smart Tracking Technologies, LLC, an IoT company, announced today that it has acquired the Link AKC, a GPS enabled dog collar, winner of the CES 2017 "Best of Innovation" award in the Wearable Technologies category.
Following the acquisition, Smart Tracking Technologies will begin working on a host of improvements and updates to the product line, including eventually opening up the Link AKC platform for 3rd party developers through the creation of an SDK. The first update can be expected within 30 days.

The Link AKC headquarters will relocate to Jacksonville, FL, but will maintain a presence in Stamford, CT. Herbie Calves will retain his position as Chief Growth Officer, and Gabriele Beyer will be joining the team as CFO.
