Pimax, known for pushing the boundaries of high-end virtual reality, has announced the launch of the Dream Air SE—an affordable yet feature-packed addition to its VR headset lineup—alongside a refreshed version of the Dream Air. Both headsets incorporate the latest advancements in tracking, display technology, and ergonomics.
The Dream Air SE offers a premium VR experience at an accessible price point, featuring high-resolution micro-OLED displays, optimized pancake lenses, and integrated audio. It supports both SLAM and Lighthouse tracking options to suit a wide range of users.

Advanced Tracking and Interaction
Pimax’s proprietary SLAM tracking uses four cameras and over a million tracking points to match the accuracy of base station systems—without the limitations of occlusion or interference. Hand-tracking support, currently in beta for the Crystal and Dream Air series, will also launch in Q3.
Crystal Super and Wireless Upgrades
The Crystal Super, featuring a 50 PPD optical engine, is already shipping, with a 57 PPD model arriving in Q2. The micro-OLED engine—powered by Sony’s latest panels—will debut in Q3 at $1199. Additionally, Pimax’s 60G Airlink wireless module, launching in Q3, will bring low-latency wireless support to the Crystal lineup.
