Hit The Trails With Casio's Latest Pro Trek Timepiece



Casio America, Inc. announced today the latest addition to its PRO TREK line of outdoor timepieces – the PRW3100YB-1. Designed with a blue IP stainless steel bezel and black resin band, the PRW3100YB-1 offers all of the features PRO TREK fans have come to know and love in a more compact style that is ideal for trekking during the winter months and beyond.

Equipped with Casio's Triple Sensor Version 3 Technology, the PRW3100YB-1 includes a direction sensor for compass readings, pressure sensor for altimeter/barometer readings and a thermo sensor for temperature. In addition, it boasts Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping technology, which means that it automatically synchronizes with atomic clocks in the U.S., Germany, U.K., China and two in Japan based on the user's home city setting to ensure the watch is displaying the correct time. The PRW3100YB-1 also offers Casio's Tough Solar Power technology, which eliminates the need for battery changes.


After a full-charge, the timepiece has a battery life of approximately 24 months without further exposure to light. It also features a special Power Save function that allows the timepiece to power down when not exposed to light for a certain period of time, helping to further conserve energy. This solar battery-powered timepiece can be charged even in low or fluorescent light.
