Honda Launches Fastport: Electric eQuad for Last-Mile Deliveries
Honda has unveiled Fastport, a new Fleet-as-a-Service (FaaS) company focused on revolutionizing last-mile delivery with sustainable micromobility. The company will debut globally at Eurobike 2025 (June 25–29, Frankfurt) with the Fastport eQuad, a fully electric, pedal-assisted quadricycle designed for efficient urban logistics.
The Fastport eQuad is powered by Honda’s swappable Mobile Power Pack batteries and features a software-defined platform for future updates. Built for urban delivery in bike lanes*, it offers a quiet, emission-free ride with strong performance and smart safety features like regenerative braking and automatic parking brakes.
Key features of the eQuad include:
- Pedal-by-wire powertrain
- Swappable rechargeable batteries
- UV-coated canopy with ceramic tint and ventilation
- Smooth ride chassis for uneven surfaces
- Multiple cargo box sizes and modular design
With its FaaS model, Fastport will provide fleets with a complete package: vehicles, batteries, maintenance, AI-powered dashboards, and over-the-air updates for real-time optimization and reduced costs compared to traditional delivery vans.
Initial Fastport eQuad deliveries are expected in late 2025, with full-scale production in summer 2026. Honda is already working with major logistics companies in North America and Europe for pilot testing.
According to Fastport’s general manager Jose Wyszogrod, “The eQuad is Honda’s solution to urban delivery challenges, offering a zero-emission, cost-efficient alternative built for the future of city logistics.”
