The 20th China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE 2018) kicks off its grand opening at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center on September 5-8, 2018 with 1,700 exhibitors showcasing their cutting-edge optoelectronic products to the industry. As the industry annual gathering, the event featuring with 7 sub-expos provides one-stop application solutions to the entire optoelectronic ecosystem. CIOE welcomes all the industry professionals to join this great optoelectronic event.
With the rapid development of optoelectronic technology, its applications have expanded to various industry fields such as communications, consumer electronics, automotive electronics, intelligent manufacturing, data center, medical, defense and security. The rise of emerging applications and emerging markets create exponential increase in demands for these optoelectronic products such as optical communication for 5G transmission, ultra-fast laser cutting for full screen, LiDAR for autonomous driving, and optical lens connecting with abundant applications. Optoelectronic industry is gaining unprecedented attention and vigorous development more than ever.
CIOE 2018 covers the entire optoelectronic industry chain with 7 main sub-expos including Optical Communications Expo, Laser Technology and Intelligent Manufacturing Expo, Precision Optics, Lens and Camera Module Expo, Infrared Applications Expo, Data Center Expo, Optoelectronic Sensor Expo and Photonics Innovation Pavilion. More than 1,700 industry players from 30+ countries and regions gather together to present an optoelectronic feast over 110,000m2exhibition area.
Six international pavilions display cutting-edge optoelectronic technologies and products. Germany, Denmark, Canada, Korea, USA, Japan total 6 country pavilions will display their featured products and technologies in optoelectronic industry. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) open the German Pavilion at CIOE in 2018 for the ninth time. 17 companies present their high quality products and services to key players and decision makers from all over Asia and the world.
In addition, more than 30 concurrent conferences are held during CIOE. The International Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) will co-organized Global Optoelectronics Conference (OGC 2018) with CIOE. The conference has 8 sessions covering hottest topics in optics, optical communication, laser, infrared, optical fiber sensing and others. More than 500 optoelectronic professionals from around the world gather at CIOE to discuss innovative applications of optoelectronic technology.
At the same time, the Optical Communication Technology and Development Forum 2018 gathers China's 3 main telecom operators, five equipment suppliers and industry experts to discuss hot topics about 5G, Optical Networks applications, SPN technologies, cloud data center, optical interconnections, optical transport network and photonics integrations. More than 30 forums and workshops will be held to help players steer their business and explore new business opportunities.
Encouraged by five consecutive years of successful forums, which attracts more than 100 participants on average, CIOE works with Yole Développement again to organize 4 international forums on laser Manufacturing, Infrared Imaging, LiDAR and 3D Sensing to explore photonics market and technologies.
We look forward to all the global optoelectronic professionals' presence. Let's discover the future of optoelectronics together!
