Whyd Introduces First Home Speaker with Premium Design, High Quality Sound and Voice Control
Whyd is a home audio manufacturing company born from a passion for music. Whyd started as a music curation social network – like Pinterest for music – that grew to 100k members. There were all sorts of music people on Whyd – producers, DJs, bloggers, concert venues. Many people in their community talked about how they didn’t have a wireless home speaker or weren’t satisfied with what they had. Whyd started building a speaker for them.
Whyd announced their intelligent speaker is available for pre-order. The Whyd speaker is the first ever home speaker to consist of an elegant 360-degree design with full voice control and deliver crystal clear 360 HiFi sound with deep and dramatic bass – enabled by four full range drivers and one dedicated subwoofer.
With the new speaker, Whyd seeks to redefine how people experience and interact with music. You don’t need a phone. Users will now be able to speak directly to the Whyd Speaker and ask for a specific track, artist, playlist or even a radio station. The speaker will also work with streaming services like Spotify and Soundcloud. The Whyd Speaker also allows for touch control via the stylish, intuitive glass-made touchpad on the top of the speaker.
