Hyland adds two new data centers in Canada

Hyland opens two new data centers in Canada today, providing organizations with an in-region hosting option to leverage the company's content services product portfolio - including OnBase, ShareBase and Brainware - within the Hyland Cloud: a secure, privately managed cloud hosting platform. With 13 global data centers strategically located around the world, Hyland continues to support the growing trend of organizations seeking cloud-based content services solutions.

The new Canadian data centers are purpose-built for Canadian business operations and meet Hyland's rigorous standards for data sovereignty and encryption to ensure data is protected by the highest levels of digital and physical security protocols. Benefiting from the cutting-edge hosting methodology within the Hyland Cloud, organizations leveraging Hyland's cloud-based information management solution save money, and remove the burden of in-house data maintenance and protected storage. Content stored in the Hyland Cloud is always secure and available, with disaster recovery and business continuity enforced in tandem.

"As the most tenured cloud content services vendor, we remain dedicated to providing our global customer base with the scalable solutions they need, deployed the way they want," said Marc Cianciolo, director, Global Cloud Services at Hyland. "The new data centers in Canada deliver safe, secure and reliable hosting options for Canadian organizations looking to transform business processes and gain operational efficiency."

The addition of a data center in Canada indicates the rapid growth of Hyland's cloud services, as well as increasing customer interest in cloud solutions. A recent study by the Association for Intelligent Information Management found more than three-quarters of the organizations surveyed are looking to leverage the cloud in some fashion within the next two years. Thirty-eight percent said they will deploy cloud solutions, while forty percent of respondents plan to focus on a hybrid approach, utilizing both on-premises and cloud deployments.

The Hyland Cloud supports more than 800 global organizations in 26 countries. The privately managed cloud eliminates any instances of co-mingling of data, and is configured and maintained to provide maximum security, demonstrated by ongoing audits and adherence to strict ISO-based policies. Authorized users are able to access protected, mission-critical information, while appropriate disaster recovery and business continuity commitments are simultaneously enforced.
